Default The Dealer's Mark

I was wondering how to safely remove the stamp thing off the back of my Monte that came with tha car fro the dealer.

Is it an emblem or a sticker?

It is like a metallic emblem that says Don's Chevrolet.

Use a blow-dryer and start to heat it up, that will loosen the sticky and then take dental floss, double it up and carefully see-saw the dental floss through the sticky of the decal, remember while doing this to pull towards you, away from the car and work VERY slowly.

Then when it is off, you will have some glue residue, just take some Goof-Off and rub it off easily. Then wash the area with some Dish soap and wax it up.

Thanks, I was wondering the same thing... mine is a pretty good size rectangle emblem that says 'Sport Chevrolet, Silver Spring, MD'. Ill have to try this to get the stupid thing off.

Heh, I'm glad my dealer just used a cheap vinyl sticker.

ive actually put my dealer sticker back on, but its Hendrick Chevrolet so it goes with the car
