They are held in very tight with push lock pins, I've had one case with trouble due to amps and it was discovered he had oversized the holes and fixed it by simply increasing the pin size

These lit SS panels were set up with 12 LED lits and sold for $220 shipped the boards base at $160 $15 shipping if you want lights you add $30 on up depending on the lights. 12 lights run $45 where light bars such as the set on Mod Waynes rockinSS04 panel was more expensive......

i did brake mine (fell a part) my 2 15" l7's move my deck lid a lot even with the 2 layers of sound deadening on the deck lid and trunk i need to bond mine to the deck lid i am going to try that this weekend it is the only way i think i can keep it together !! Tim did a grat job on making it i just have alot of presure and vibration in my trunk

If i did not spend over $ 6,000 on mine i would think about it lol he did a great job i just need to do some modding to my mod and it will be all good
wonder how the trunk lid stays on
