Default check out my new rims ... kinda

so i had been reading about, or seeing videos on youtube about plastidipping wheels for a while and finally bit the bullet after someone at ls1tech tested it on a spare rim and found out ... its the truth ... the stuff is cheap, stays in place after drying ... but can be easily pulled off ... how long it will last, only time can tell, but it looks darn good IMHO ... and im glad that its semi-temporary/ permanent ... because i dont think i would have been too happy with painting the rims and not being able to go back ... but now, maybe i will down the line if i grow to like the look ...

just on the way home from and back work today ... i had 2 people get me to roll down the window and say how good it looks ... and that used to be a monthly occurrence ... :p

An all black Monte is the way to go
I love the look, now all you need is dark tint.

thanks all ... the stuff really is worth checking out if you want to paint stuff on your car to see how it would look, or for temporary purposes ... the only pain is masking it properly as to not pull it all off when youre done ...

im redoing my headlights tonite at work, so ill get more pictures up tmrw of the freshly redone stealthy toothless ... yeah, thats right ... my nickname for the car is the dragon from "how to train your dragon" ...

partly the black thing, partly because i have the front trim ring/oval thing from the grill out for so long, due to bad painting efforts... partly because i like the movie

and yes i know, its weird for a 26 year old to like disney/ animated movies ... but ever since toy story 1 as a kid ... ive always had a soft spot for animation ...
