Default changing flat spoiler to vertical

OK so I bought a vertical spoiler from a guy on Craigslist a couple months ago for cheap I prefer the spoiler it looks sportier in my opinion but here's a few pics of what I did

Here's how it came

Then I painted it

couple days later it was removal of flat spoiler which included 4 bolts man was it ugly

After a good washing then scraping off what seemed to be 3m double sided tape I prepped and used this stuff which is quite a blessing

After using the product and sanding. And painting and more sending and painting here was the outcome

And after test fitting the new spoiler and marking where the new holes was needed I drilled the 5 slots and bam magic

Now some might say why not find a trunk or get a 7th gen. Well I was on a budget and those are hard to find lol but all that is needed is to claybar. Some of the access paint I got on and it will look even more great

Hope yall like

I like those spoilers, mine didn't come with any spoiler so I don't have to fill any holes..just drill new ones

Great job Owen! I'm still debating back and forth about either keeping or replacing the "whale tail"

I have added a few spoilers to cars, but I have not seen the flat surfboard one off the Monte before. Wow what a job. You did a super job on the new spoiler and it looks great.

i thought the vertical spoiler was a bolt on using the same holes as the surfboard?

The '00-'07 surfboard and the '06/'07 vertical spoilers share the same bolt pattern.
But the '00-'05 vertical spoiler (factory and aftermarket) do not share the same pattern.
