wow lol neither did I. See, that's the generic carbon fiber I guess, it's to square and blocky looking. I don't like that look for carbon fiber

I LIKE IT. Can't say i've ever seen carbon fiber on rails before....it adds a nice touch.



BTW -- the 7th gen SS has that same faux carbon fiber stuff on the dash. Can't say i really mind it, but you can definitely tell it's not real

 

It's vinyl lol ....Thanks man Yes, I should be getting my other roll in and I plan on doing the center console (already did the lid that opens) and the parts behind the door handle inserts! Pics will be up tomorrow night if I get it!


Thanks everyone for all the compliments! it was pretty hard and time consuming not getting those damn creases! Once I knew how to get the vinyl to work how I wanted it, I fixed alot of the creases. It's not hard if anyone wants to try it. Then again, I like a challenge lol
