Car got keyed for no reason...fix?
So title says it all, just moved into my new apartment complex 2 weeks ago and I'm already hating it. Won't get into a lovely story about it but I'm looking for a fix for this.
It doesn't look to deep but it is there, If I wipe it with something wet it goes away for a little bit until it dries, then it comes back.
I have a $500 deductible to pay if I want to go through my insurance and I honestly don't have that money right now so I'm hoping someone here will have an idea of how to fix this at home?
Rained last night so car is a bit dirty so apologies for some dirt =p seriously though I'm hoping and wanting to get this fixed without going broke. Thanks everyone!

Depending on the depth you should be able to use compound to get it out yourself.
If it's too deep you will have to do some wetsanding.

I despise people that have nothing better to do than vandalize the belongings of others.
If the scratches aren't too deep, you may be able to remove them with this:
Meguiar's SCRATCH X 2.0 Fine Scratch & Swirl Remover is a rubbing compound that can be applied by hand. Meguiars ScratchX polishes away fine paint
You should be able to find it at a local auto parts store.

Hmm I would think about changing your comprehensive deductable for the future. On my hit and run with the Deuce I paid ZERO deductable as it was covered under comprehinsive
Scratch X is way way too fine of a product. You would need something like Meguiar's Ultimate Compound and probably a few applications of that for something so deep.
Scratch X is more for those fine swirls you might find after washing the car. Those very very fine ones that appear in direct sunlight.

Whichever on you decide to use it may take multiple applications. The link Chibi posted has good info but if you don't feel confident doing it yourself have a professional do the work. If you make more damage trying to fix the problem it will only cost more in the end.
perfect-it 3000. i use that at my shop for deep scratches but i would use it with a buffer
