Default Blue transparent paint test

with our new ICI waterbased system, came a few new transparent colors: red, green, magenta and blue. being curious i decided to test the blue on a damaged Buick headlight. i was pleased with it . i also noticed how neat it would look over crome.

id like a few opinions. persoanlly i like the look. what do you think???

1 light coat of reduced blue waterbased

That looks awesome. Are the colors you listed the only transparent colors or are there more? Is it kinda like tri-coat where the more layers you apply the darker the color gets? I would assume so. If you do another junk headlight, try masking it off like a tri-coat test panel and try 1, 2 and 3 coats to see what it looks like. Also, do you have any scrap aluminum laying around? Maybe with some clear adhesion promoter you could give it the look of annodized aluminum with that stuff. Oh man I would have so much fun with that, lol.

i was actually thinking of that new chrome paint thats out there.i thinks theres a few car pics on google with it done.. imgine your entire car painted in chrome with a few coats of that blue to give it that blue annodized look all over.

ill do the progressive coats like u asked. ill also look for an old broken chrome grill or something and try that with a few colors
