I haven't seen anything like that for the 7th Gens.

You can black out your bow-tie, that look isn't that bad and it's very cheap / easy to do.

see if you can find a brand name for what they were going to get. We can rip apart the net to find one, but a name will help us a LOT for what brands to be looking at!

Best thing to do is take your stock grill out, take the chrome piece off, and repaint the grill. Make sure you sand the area where the bowtie goes( after you remove the gold bowtie). If you have problems taking the bowtie off, heat it up w a hair dryer a gently pull it off with a flathead screwdriver. If you want to black it out more, paint the chrome too. Nice look. You can just use paint for plastic spray paint. It works fine. I painted the grill on my 06 MCss, cuz I took the emblem off and replaced it with an SS emblem. I wanted the SS to stand out, so I wanted the grill to be as black as possible. I will post pics. My car is silver.

I remember someone on this board hacking up their grill so that it didn't have the bowtie outline. Can't remember who did it but it turned out pretty nicely.

I personally really like my black bowtie with the chrome outline...

A few members have removed the bowtie and replaced it with an SS badge. One cheap alternative. (see attached pics)
