What are the temperatures and conditions when you paint your items. It could be from the surface not being clean or the paint not sticking to it either.

It could be from the humidity.

New member here, ordered an SLP grill and think the black crystal headlights would match well on my black monte. I really like the ones Montelicious has though and can't seem to find them. I checked out her profile also and can't seem to locate what headlights she actually has, I love the way those look, but would settle for the black crystal ones on here. Does anyone know what kind she has? I was going to try and send a PM to ask, but I don't know how to do that either. Anyway, any input is appreciated.

Regarding the black crystal headlights (like the ones on fleabay):

Someone mentioned that the light outputs sucks on them. Anyone agree or disagree with that?

Also, I was reading elsewhere on MCF about aiming headlights and someone made a comment like "good luck aiming those black headlights from ebay, they are all over the place". Anyone had that experience?

Yes those are the ones and I thought my eyes were getting worse. It may very well be that the stock all silver lights reflect better and therefore shine brighter. I went about a month without my car and forgot what it was like before the wreck so I can't say for sure. In WV its much darker on those country roads than my street light lit roads in Orlando so I thought it might be a combination of sight getting worse and a darker driving environment.

I bought the lights off eBay. They seem to be good quality and were very easy to install and aim. I've not had any issues with them at night either.
