College is pretty good, I've always enjoyed it. I'm actually taking my last two classes and I'll graduate here in May. I plan on going to another school next fall and starting an auto body program because I'd rather work in a shop than an office.

The 944 is finally running decently everyday. I do have some new fuel lines for it because the original ones are looking very safe. I like older cars, they have all sorts of random issues and you can always find something small to fix and feel accomplished!

The Monte has 102k miles, due for another transmission fluid change and spark plugs. Both of which I was on my way home to do that night. Those jobs got a little postponed.

The Ford sucks on the street in the snow, the Monte is by far the most snowy road worthy car. Anyway, it's sitting back home due to a transfer case that is completely screwed. (I let my sister drive it back to school because she had broken both her and my mom's pickups earlier in that week...) Oh, and no more partying for another two months! (I started P90X a few weeks back )

Can't say I'm a big fan of them either. I thought about the aftermarket hood, but that would be another $500 on top of the deductible which during the summer I would have been mighty tempted, during school not so much. I did stop in and check it out today though and it sounds like they're gonna paint the stripes instead of replace them with a factory stripe kit.

It's on schedule and should be headed for paint tomorrow from what I'm told. I'll take some photos once I get it back.

That sucks man. Sorry to hear. I almost plowed into an older asian lady in a prius that came to a complete stop on an on-ramp in the same fashion. Looking over the shoulder, identify hole in traffic, accelerate, turn head back foward....oh $^&%!!!

Hi Garrett, thanks for your reply & update...
I agree, I would rather work in a shop, then a office...Presently, I am doing both...What school will you go 2 after your get your degree ?

Good Luck on P90X "LOL, Nothing good in this life is E.Z. 4-Sure" Don't give `up

How's your 3.9L holding `up ? I think it's a great engine, but the trans just isn't strong enough 2 handle all the power

Garrett, please keep us updated...Wish U the best

I'll be going to a community college in Casper. I know a few kids from my high school that went there and have decent jobs, plus tuition is cheap for Wyoming residents.

The 3.9 is doing just fine, I'm having issues with it throwing the "Service Traction Control" warning and shifting harsh. I think it's linked to a sensor, but I always miss my chance to pull the code so I can narrow it down.

When I get it back I'll probably fix that issue and the rear defrost that's no longer working. Then the only thing would be the remote issue, but that's about $500 too. If I end up selling it I'll go through and make sure everything gets sorted out.

I don't think those mods will help performance that much....

painted stripes are better anyways, but I can't believe you would do this to get them. JK, sorry about the accident and hopefully she will be right.
