Hello everyone!

I was wondering if anyone on the forum has put a black hood on their Monte. I think it might look pretty sweet with some black roof rails. Maybe a little expensive, but is it worth it? Opinions please!

I've got a black hood on mine! I think the previous owner put in on though...

 

Mine had a black Hood when I bought , I added the black roof rails ..LOL

I confused, but I get confused a lot ..Are you talking about a aftermarket fiberglass hood ? or just painting yours BLACK.

Please post more detailed on your Mod Dreams 4 your Monte and I'm sure many member's will post their thoughts.
What type of look are you going for ? <~> In you Mod $ budget....

If it were my Monte (but it's not ) I would put competition stripes (either Silver/white or even Black etc) for a updated look 2 your awesome Monte.

If, not maybe a member will photoshop some of your idea's to see what they might look like on your Monte ?

 

I was thinking more about the "ricer" hood. Some people just paint theirs black, or maybe even buy the carbon fiber hoods. People say it looks cheap, but it sure does turn heads. And if I go with the black hood, black roof rails, and maybe black racing stripes, I don't think it would look trashy at all because it would all be pulled together. And I have ALOT more pictures, I could post them, but I don't know how to post them in the actual body of the post. When I try to do it, I always have to attach them in multiple posts.
I actually took a photoshop class last semester, so I know the basics. I could try, but I'm just to lazy. :P

Thanks for your addition infor on your plan.
First, how long do you plan on keeping your Monte ?
Every Mod or change can affect your trade in or sales price.
You might love what you've done, but future buyers or dealers may not & may deduct from their offer.
(Just something to consider), but saying that, it's your Monte & your Money, so do what makes you happy 4-Sure...

You should be able to post pictures in the MCF Gallery, give it another try & if it doesn't work, let us know..

I plan on keeping my Monte until it will no longer turn on, or gets crashed, or just fails. Basically, I plan on driving it into the GROUND! As my dad would say. Lol.
