Exactly, you are correct. Know he sold it once the motor popped, do wonder what became of it and why we never see it , well I guess we did see it with this post. John is totally into Vettes now. Went to his You Tube Channel about a month ago, Vette thing now, but been a minute since he posted any new videos about it either. He was in the oil fields work there in Pa., but with all this dippy dumb "Green" crap going on and numbnuts Biden & Co. trying to shut down every source of fuel that works , John may be licking his wounds and working elsewhere, probably not in the coal mines either. Oh I remember they were all supposed to cross train into making solar panels. Put the China man out of work, not!! What a looney place we are becoming with this self enriching green policies. We need 1 billion people to stop eating meat, so they want. Anyone here going to get in line for tofu burgers and a side order of fried crickets?

@wht02monte and @ZIPPY02 you guys are definitely right, that is John's (aka @turbo monte's) old Monte. He demodded and stripped it down. Someone, somewhere came and picked up the bar chassis as I recall. I actually saw John and his wife over the summer.

Zippy, you basically hit the nail on the head brother. I am no longer in the oilfield. Most of leaving was my choice as i didnt wanna travel anymore and wanted to have a "normal" life if therenis such a thing lol.

I parted out turbo monte down to a bare shell basically. A guy bought the frame/body and threw stock suspension under it to roll it out of my garage and onto his trailer. He was supposed to 5 speed swap it with a max effort gen v m90 setup but sadly it never happened. Last I knew the car was sitting outside behind the garage rotting away.

I still have the vette, it's alive and well. My wife popped the motor in the cts-v so we are nearing completion of that new build. Her car has a fully forged 427 ls-next block, boost monster m311 heads and a massive 2650 blower now. The whole fuel system was upgraded at this point also. Power goals for her car are now over 1000whp
