Default and another one =D

Okay hopefully this will be my last question for a while but who knows lol. Okay do two things: one opinion, the other an actual question.

Anyway so the opinion first...
Thinking about painting the "Monte Carlo" badge on the back either white or silver. It's black right now and it's kinda hard to see at a distance. And I'm planning on buying the "Intimidator" badge that's on the Senior Edition montes on the other side of the bumper and that badge is silver. So do you guys think I should paint it? and which color? And what kinda paint would I use? And would I have to take it off to paint it? Or should I just buy ones that are already the color I want and stick em on there, that way I have the stock ones in case I decide that I want the black back. Here are some pics of it (i really wish i could Photoshop the different colors to see what it would look like )

OMG THOSE ARE HUGE! SORRY

And, here was suppose to be my other question...sorry that the last one had like a 100 questions in it lol. When I get my car all buffed and pretty I kinda wanted every part of the exterior done. So here's my question, is it possible to take off all the badges (Supercharged, SS, and Monte Carlo) off the car, buffed and polish and wax behind them and then put them back on right where they were? Does anyone know if they are glued on or if they are "bolted" on? If they are glued on I'm scared that I won't put them back on in the right spot, but if it will have a hole behind it then it will be alright. The back ones are obviously in the pics above but here is one of the side...

Once again, freakin huge. It's crazy but anyway sorry this one is soo freaking long but like i said this should be the last one for a while. Thanks for the help guys! It's highly appreciated!

Brittany,

I like the idea of painting the Monte Carlo on the back...i'd go silver if you do, I think that would look nice. But if you could buy silver ones, i'd just get those...

All the decals are "glued" on with a type of adhesive....I think you are nuts wanting to remove them. Just leave them on!!! Waz in between them, and use Q-Tips to get the eztra wax off the the decals...

One suggestion that I think adds a lot to a car...and don't be offended if you have some attachement to your current one, please! But I think a nice chrome license plate frame with a red bowtie on it would look awesome! I have one, I paid like 35 bucks for it! Its chrome, and says Chevrolet with a red bowtie next to it! They have ones that say Monte Carlo too...Anyway, just a suggestion!

Instead of painting, I would always just buy new. You can find badges in every color all over ebay and morad etc.

If you were to take yours off, you would have to then put new adhesive (3M Strip) then cut around the decal to put it back on. I say go new and don't paint. For the price of a new one, you would have spent on paint and 3M adhesive and your time.

yeah i looked on ebay last night and all they have are red, blue, black and grey, lol every other color but the one i need. I'll just have to keep my eye out for them.

well my side one's are okay but ever since i got the car the black "monte carlo" has looked all hazy and what not behind it. I'll most def try to Q-tips to get whatever it is off behind them.

ha nahh it's pretty hard to offend me, that is unless you go off on my baby i know what you are talking about, i was thinking about getting a new frame anyway and i'm thinking that until i get enough money to get a license plate filler that i might buy one of those chevy license plates that say "the heartbeat of america" or something like that bcuz it would match my car perfectly and i love the phrase

Just buy the silver emblems. I replaced all my Red Monte Carlo emblems with silver ones on my Red & Silver 03.
