Default 2006 Pace Car Spoiler

I wrote in the Detailing section a few months back and thought i'd repost and see if anyone has had any luck finding a vertical pace car spoiler for an 06-07. Has anyone found one? I've got an 06 LT with a surfboard spoiler. Does anyone know if the holes will match up if I do find a pace car spoiler from an 06-07?

only if you get a stand-up spoiler off the 06-07 will it fit. the 00-05 don't.

The best bet is going to be ebay / find someone parting out a wrecked or blown engine

stay away from anything that says it will fit 00-07 and look like the older style you will have to drill for those.

I've seen lots of them online that say they will fit 00-07.....good to know. I'll stay away from them. The only place i've found one was from a GM parts website and its like $400-$500. I'm not paying that kind of money for a spoiler thats probably not even painted. I checked junkyards in my area and there aren't any 06+ montes cuz its too new of a car. So I guess i'll just have to watch ebay and see if one might pop up.

Exactly. I've been on the hunt for about 6 months now, and have not come up with ANYTHING yet.

I don't understand why aftermarket spoiler makers aren't JUMPING on this opportunity since EVERYONE wants this spoiler.

What do you have now, the surfboard "sport" kind? What year is your monte?

Yeah I have the flat surfboard spoiler. Its an 00 SS and that was the only option at the time from the factory. I didn't even get the opportunity to get the high sport package

I actually ended up ordering one that was supposed to fit the holes for 00-07.. sadly it didn't and it's on it's way back to where it came.

They don't make after market 06/07 pace car spoilers.. it does come farther onto the trunk like the surfboard one, not sure if it would fit older model mcs.
