Tragedy for Dan Wheldon
This year Indy500 winner Dan Wheldon was just killed in the IndyCar series finale at LasVegas. It was the most horrific wreck I have ever seen. The race will not continue. It is an incredibly emotional scene. They are about to drive some tribute laps...
what a shame!

Tragedy indeed. We met Dan twice at MIS back when they were racing there. He always had a big smile. He loved what he was doing. Tough way to go. We both cried. I'm thankful they canceled the race.
He leaves a wife and 2 young children.
He will be missed.
Please pray for not only his family, but his Indy Car family as well. Those drivers and crew were like family. They all hurt as much as his family does.

Indy car crash.....
I have watched a lot of Inday car races in my life time. Dan Wheldons fatal crash is just one of several that I've heard about or watched on t.v.
I remember this one from 1973. It was the Indy 500 for that year and this wreck has always stuck out in my mind. Some of you weren't born yet but it was a devastating crash. He survived but barely.......
