Default Your dream vacation, Where would you go?

So if money was no option, where on this planet would you go for your dream vacation?
Would you go alone, take along your family?

When I was in the US Army back in 83 we were doing Multinational Forces and Observers peace keeping duties on the Sinai peninsula. It was a time to remember, Army brought over windsurfers for us, warm swimming pool blue water, daily snorkeling. Went to the Great Pyramids on the Giza Plateau by Cairo. I think if I could go somewhere I would go back there to the Sinai, carefree, casual, chilling with young people hitch hiking around the world on the beaches, smoking funny things and listening to music. Gosh those were the stress free days, now it's all about always going to work work work.... Seem's like I live to work instead of working to live.. Eddie Money "I want to go back and do it all over again"

What would you want to go and do??? Come on it's a big world.....

My aunt and uncle (mom's brother and sister and their spouses) emigrated there after WWII. My mom and her family are German. I've been to Germany a few times and lived there a few years, but never made it to Australia.

Ah Germany, are you alluding to the Oktoberfest you closet beer drinker?? Those Kraut's do know how to drink a few steins of beer....

I actually spent 3 years there 73-76 in Illesheim kind of by Nuremberg. To much fun only 17 then and whew, did I hang with the wrong crowd or what. Life became a blur.... Partying all the time, concerts, Studio's, playing Foosball with the german teenagers. No war, Vietnam was winding down and most everyone had a FTA attitude.

Well do tell, nice, happy to see you actually have spent some time over there. I loved the place too. Always out off base hanging with the Germans. Not a barracks rat like so many people who always stayed on base. Where did you go to over there? What years?
