When I get in the car, the ONLY thing I do is drive.

My phone is put away, everyone has their own ring tone so I know who calls if it is important I will pull off the road.

There is no food or drink in my car. Occasional bottle of water, which I usually don't even touch while driving.

Jenna and I take long trips. We just stop and eat. Where is the rush when you can't take 20 minutes to sit in a place to grab a bite to eat lol.

 

I agree Mod `Mike, but I've found & believe that there are many out there that are not blessed with Common `Sense As I look in2 my mirror & say "Stupid People, do Stupid Things" ~> 4-Sure
Many do not get a 2nd chance or a do over : ( What if ?

I only eat foods in the car that aren't messy, except for donuts, they can get messy. I'm pretty bad at it though, on long interstate trips I've been known to just sit on facebook and mcf haha. Other then that I try to only text at lights or in the open.

 

The only other thing i do is text people BUT. I do it in a safe manner. I have an app called Vlingo. I never have to look at or touch my phone to send someone a text. When one comes in it'll read it to me, i can speak the message i want to write back, it reads it back to me and i just say send. All without ever taking my hands off the wheel, i can call people the same way too.

Fellow andriod users its worth a try, its a free app Vlingo. Apple has the same app but it doesn't have an "in car" mode.

 

I'll eat some fast food once in a while. Usually I'll have a pop from mc donalds in there. I do talk on the phone if it's a long conversation I will use a headset.

 

Ahem... It's also a BlackBerry app, and the fully functioned $20 version is free from RIM right now

 

I am a safe driver I try only to eat soup(clam chowder with crackers ) or Cereal while driving LOL who am I kidding no one eats in my Monte LOL I do listen to the radio while driving but that about it .

 

Ive got that app on my phone havnt used it yet may try it out
