You know you drive a Monte Carlo when...
When people try to tell you untrue information about your car.
*true story* a friend of mine actually said" I think its funny that chevrolet made the monte carlo to compete with italian exotics and they would so get slaughtered by those cars" yes, my car would get slaughtered by a lambo, no, my car wasn't made to compete with them,its not even a sports car, its a personal luxury coupe that is why they are automatics.
Sorry for the rant

Monte=$10,000
Put the extra $240,000 into your Monte and it will beat the lambo. Or race him with a real Nascar Monte
Nocturnx, I know you probably don't want to hear this, but the 6th Monte is a backwards engineered (or at least designed) Nascar. When Chevrolet designed it, they actually were building a car that would fit the template of what they wanted to race in Nascar. This gave them a huge performance edge until the other manufactures were allowed to build their cars to the MonteCarlo specs too. Eventually Nascar made the universal "Car of Tommorrow" which fit no street model template and Chevrolet discontinued the MonteCarlo.
Diehard Nascar fans know this and think everyone who bought a MonteCarlo does, but obviously from these boards we learn not too many of us are Nascar fans really. But MonteCarlo's really did exist for Chevrolet's Nascar marketing
MonteCarlo never were the fastest cars in the world. It never handled the best or out sold anything really. But there is one place in which it has no equal. The MonteCarlo is the winningest car in Nascar history!
Jeez... I must be a random stranger!
Anyways...
You know you drive a MonteCarlo when your dreaming of putting 500 whp to the front wheels

You know you own a Monte when a complete stranger asks you if it is rear wheel drive, and you both look down at your shoes and say no, what were they thinking!!!...
