Default You Gotta Fight for Your Right...

I'm sitting here watching the morning news and they just ran a story about a fight that broke out in front of a Nike store at a local mall. The fight grew to a point where the police were called and had to use pepper spray to break it up. Evidently there was a dispute about who was in line in front of who...all for the chance to purchase a pair of leather Jordan shoes. It appears that the Christmas Spirit is alive and well when it comes to shoes. Peace on Earth, Good Will towards man...unless you cut in line and hinder my chance to get a new pair of shoes. Is a new pair of shoes really worth resorting to physical violence? Really?

Wow! That's crazy. But some people do really love their shoes! The funniest part is that they were men most likely! I would think that women would get into more fights about shoes, but I guess that probably happens too often so it never gets posted on the news! lol

Who wants to fight for the below ?

I just don't understand.., but I don't like any shoes..,
I prefer to go shoeless, but I have to wear steel toed boots @ work & can't wait to get them `off.
I miss my flip flop's or just going barefoot.
Yes, I'm a SunShine redNeck BeachBum 4-Sure

The more I learn about people, the more ConFuZed I get...Now, I do care about good tires on cars, but I'd only want 2 fight `if someone was try'in 2 steal them
Thanks `Mike, for posting this thread...I learn something everyday on the MCF...Some just falls outa my SpaceBrain & is lost 4-ever....LOL 4-Sure!

all i have to say is welcome to the holidays, its become so commercialized and rediculous it doesn't feel like holidays. I've been working almost everyday and it does not feel like christmas is 2 days away at all. With all the chaos and frustration. All my store is worried about is making a million dollars this week.

Man that's crazy. I never was into that. As long as they functioned correctly I'm happy. I generally wear my combat boots anyway unless I'm wearing shorts. And even then I'm wearing a $20 pair of shoes from Wal-Mart. I'm not about to spend $100+ on a pair of shoes. My combat boots were issued to me and they're the most comfortable shoes I own by far. I'm on my feet 9-10 hours a day and when I get home it doesn't even feel like I've been on my feet that long.
