He may not even be trying to sell it. It might be the dealers personal toy. He hides it as inventory for tax purposes.

The owner of APC/ Canusa (the automotive parts supplier I work for) does this. Check out the website to his "dealership" here. All those cars are way overpriced and as far as I know he has never sold a one of them. All those cars have been listed for sale for years. Its just his way of buying lots of toys and making it all a tax write off

I think Brent may have hit the nail on the head in this case. I love how the Camaro is parked in a storage shed with licence plates attached to it. Not even dealership plates. Actual private owner licence plates. Yeah.... That's for sale.

But as we all have seen, sometimes car lots seem to think they have a golden ticket with a certain car. Someone here posted an 04 Intimidator not too long ago with an insane asking price.

Sometimes it comes down to the classic "Wife's ultimatum", get rid of that thing or you're getting rid of me!!! So they say "Well this is what the car is worth" and that's what they put it up for sale for. See it on craigslist with classic cars all the time. That, and people want to show their car off on the internet....

For a second I thought this was a drug thread. Oh how much I love my generation...

Seems some-what reasonable. Maybe like 26 though. They don't display the mileage.
