Being my daily school commuter and only costing a thousand bucks when i bought her, my monte will be on the road all winter. Gotta keep washing her though with all this salt, roads turn white around here in the winter.

 

Mine is a winter warrior also. But I put snow tires on with different rims for the winter. I want to save my dale jr rims from being ruined by the salt and ice.

 

mine gonna be driven this winter too but i'm gonna make sure to clean it often and give it a good anti rust treatement.as crazy as it may sound , my lifted truck is not going to be on the road this winter,i've put in too much work/time/money to restore it and make it the way it look right now.our winters up here are very rought,and they put all kind of sh*t on the roads;calcium,sand,gravel,salt..

 

I drive my 05 year round. I do have to replace 2 of my Eagle GTs before this winter or I will have some problems.

 

my last monte did great in the snow. have yet to have the 07 in the snow and hope i wont have to

 

Usually it's not too bad. Of course, being in NE Ohio we can easily get 8-12 inches dropped on us in a night from lake effect snow. I have no problems on regular roads but I did run into a few problems last Winter on the highway - Dead Man's Curve...no me gusta.

Sigh...... Just but the Deuce to bed for 5 months this afternoon

 

Ugghhh. Tad that news is just depressing. A reminder of how we get stuck with 5 to 6 months of winter every year around here.
