I run mine all winter as well. This should be the last winter it will see since I am getting a dedicated winter beater. Hopefully it doesnt have to see this winter at all but it probably will. I run cooper winter tires in the front and cooper all seasons in the back. The car will go anywhere. The only time Ive been stuck was driving through snow that was as deep as my bumper cover. That may have been a little too deep, lol.

After buying my 06 SS a year ago, I drove it this past winter and it did very well in the snow. Although I can say the extra power the V8 pushes to the front tires is touchy in snow and took some getting used to at first, but overall it is a nice winter driver. If I can swing it, I'm going to garage it this winter. When I had my 03 SS I drove it every winter, and that thing would never get stuck either.

My Monte has yet to see winter with me. But, I'll be driving all through this one. The amount of people on here who have had basically no problems in their 6th gen's. reassures me that I should do fine, as long as I've got good tires on the thing!

Sounds like i shouldn't have a problem, though the tread pattern on the front wheels isn't in my favor for snow but buying tires isn't an option.

I hate it!

Also, I drove my monte like a madman in the winter the first few years I had it, it handled great. I always went the speed limit through pretty much anything unless I couldn't see.

Lol I swear I had a thread on this awhile ago, if they handle anything like my 03 Grand Am GT did in the winter I say it'll be fine.

I don't drive mine in winter, but that's because of the road salt. I got caught in snow one day last winter (day started out nice, we went Christmas shopping 75 miles away) and I just about had a coronary having to drive home in the salt. Those are the times I wish I had bought a non Limited Edition. I couldn't resist though, as the purchase price was about the same as an SS of the same year and mileage.

Nice, mine was previously drivin in the winter and has 2 small paint flakes in the rear drivers wheel well which i will be getting fixed, it is no longer going to be driven in winter. I would like to drive it on my 21st birthday to take the family out to eat on November 12th but the way the weather has been lately in I owa we could possibly see snow by then sounds crazy but we had 70-75 in october here! crazy anyway I'm glad that I have a truck so I can store my baby in a shed for winter lol.

I should have explained a bit better, was driven in the winter in previous years by previous owners.
