Wife's Impala
Well after thorough deliberations, we have decided that we will keep it.
I am not giving it away after having spent so much on it over the years. It just needs a little re-freshing. My brother is going to take the engine out and apart. Re-seal everything and replace anything if needed while apart. Also detail engine compartment again while it is empty. Re-paint everything on engine and re-install. While this is happening, we are going to sand it all back down and repair a few spots and paint it back to the original Light metallic blue. wife is against that color but I think it will look nice. Get it back more original and hit some shows with it. It is really a nice car for a 41 year old vehicle. I have already replaced front fenders with an NOS one and one used, 2 new rear quarters, rebuildt tranny and so many things I would be typing for an hour. So, might as well hang on to it. During the Super Chevy show in St. Louis, we realized there were no 71-76 Impalas. Hers is the custom model with the sloping rear window and vented trunk. I was joking with 03JG Mike that I was driving it to him for a paint job when we got back. Here are a few pics in case you havent seen it before.
What would you guys think of a rear wing??? sure be different huh.

Hi `Jerry & I think your made a wise decision..& also believe that you would regret it `if you sold it...Now, if someone really wanted it & offered you twice what it was worth 2 U, then I would re-consider...It's a super sweet rare Chevy Impala 4-Sure...
Keep us updated on your updates with new pictures
I think Hunter should work & save `up his $'s & buy it in the future ? Maybe ? LOL
