I like the MOTM idea. Depending on how he has it set-up, it may not be that hard to change.

 

Personally, I like the idea of having one Monte from each gen. But the MOTM idea sounds good too.

They do this on MonteCarloSS.com.

The member's car who is the current month is viewed at the top of the page.

I too was going to mention an image of the first to current generation. Wonder how tough it'd be to have a rotating image of all generations?

Or would this make things for the dial-up people harder for the page to load?

thanks space. i think the above post was to ask Mickey about putting his car up there.

in reality this was done when the site was brand new. It was also part of the coding of who ever made the site. So if it was just a matter of this was the oen on a site some place and they used the photo as clip art it would nt be to difficult to change. But if it was somethign that was on the site by request of the owners etc... it could prove difficult to chang eit.

But sure i would be happy to have my car as a part of the title block on the page.

Just happened accross this info by accident while looking through the 2004 Monte Carlo sales brochure for something else.

It seems the pic of the black Monte at the top of the screen is a pic from the sales brochure. It's actually cropped a little around the top of the car.
It's on page 5 of the Canadian edition of the 2004 Monte brochure. I looked through the US edition, but it doesn't seem to be in it.

I also noticed that since the pic in the sales brochure is clearer and in focus, the black Monte at the top of the screen is NOT AN INTIMIDATOR. The silver badge on the side says "SUPERCHARGED" not "INTIMIDATOR".
