Who has over 120k miles on their m/c
Third owner of my 2000 3.4. 173k.
Previous owners must have babied the car, as the interior is flawless, looks new, an no problems when I purchased it with 173k reading, other than the typical gas guage wander. (Awaiting the sending unit to arrive on the Big Brown Bus as we speak).
As I'm the third owner, I'm not sure what has/hasn't been replaced or fixed, but motor an trans working perfect an smooth. Body near mint minus the small paint chips here an there as would be expected for a 14 y/o car, an USED to have a small dent on the driver side quarter. Wasn't creased, an 10 minutes an a rubber mallet later, you'd never know.
Expecting I will have to replace the passenger side hub bearing soon, as it's making noise, tires have about 60% left, but had planned on new Hankooks anyway.
Soon as I got it home, did a full fluid flush, replaced all filters, new plugs/wires, though didn't need, just preventive maintenance.
Spent about 4+ hours taking a clay bar to the paint, an expect to put a couple coats of wax on her when it's not raining.
Planning on adding radio controls to the steering wheel, looking at finding a good SS spoiler, an changed all interior dash lights to green LEDs.
Loving this car, an hope to put yet another 170k on "Red October"!
