Hi `John,
I live on a barrier Island off Indian River County, Sebastian
Inlet area on the Atlantic Ocean. There's less then
300 people, and 99% are senior citizens : ), but
they are young @ heart 4-Sure
No Monte Clubs on the Island, except the
Wanta `be's BeachBumDreamMonteCarloSurfClub : )
I've never been to Lakeland, (Don't get away to often: ),
Do you like where you live ? Is there any auto clubs at all ?

I live in the northern suburbs of NYC, in one of the towns near the Hudson River.

Since KidSpace says in the next post that it's OK to mention it, I do belong to a local MC club. It's the New York Monte Carlo Club, and their website is at
http://www.nymontecarloclub.com
. Most of the members seem to live in the downstate NY area, particularly Long Island, but we've got members upstate and even some in other states too.
I've noticed that there's at least one NYMCC member besides me here on MCF.

..Hi `Mark, I don't see any problem with you containing/posting your Monte Clubs website. I believe in sharing & think the rules is for sites that come in and post just to recruit member's. Everyone is Welcome here, especially those that own & love the Chevrolet Monte Carlo. p.s. Love Your AweSome LT3 Monte Carlo 4-Sure : )

the town was bought out entirely by the US army corps of engineers for the failed tox island damn project. everyone lives 4+ miles into the mountians above the old town.

in reality, im north of stroudsburg, south of milford, east of lake wallenpaupack, and west of the delaware river....

i joined the delaware water gap crusers, $10 dues and any car you like, but its not monte specific... in fact im the only late model monte in the club, along with the buick...

buzzkill & bangher, lol. the poconos have some great places to drive, let me know when ya get your liscance.... you really gotta wait 2 years? up here i coulda gotten my drivers permit the day i turned 16, had it 6 months & gotten my liscance.... is 2 years some kind of new jersy thing? as for the 4th gen, id stop & ask about it, thats how i scored my monte for $400, and my buick for free & my dad has dragged me to some weird places to ask about a car... like ray madison's down on waterloo road down near you, lol.

plus your monte should make a good getaway vehicle, right?

yea bangher lol i always say that...and the reason i have to wait 2 years is because i live in new jersey so i cannot drive out of state until i turn 18 and get my real license not my provisional license which is what you get when your 17....and im not selling my monte for 400 lol 10k after its painted and all done and its yours haha idk well see how it goes after its painted..if i want to sell it or not and yes it would make a good getaway vehicle
