Where did Carl take us for Summer Vacation
I will post a few picture clues to: Where did Carl take us for Summer Vacation?
He needed a shave after we got back.
We live in St Louis Missouri - Middle USA - The trip was over 3,000 miles and included some driving besides getting to destination and back.
First picture clue, this is what we woke to June 17, 2010.
Feel free to guess, I will put up a few additional pictures every day or so as time allows, I won't confirm or deny your guesses until the very end. Being first to guess right gets you nothing, except something else to add to you signature.

Good guesses, def not St. Louis, 99 here today.
Here is a road shot from when we were close to the final destination. (if someone know this area, car is pointed away from final destination)
