Been there done that! Ahahahahahah!

I have noticed, As we get older our patience aren't what they use to be...
I know personally myself.. I'm getting a weeeee bit short fused (frustration) when I am unable to do things that use to be so easy for me to do..
Like bending scrubbing, polishing etc.... even sometimes vacuuming my Monte out... Granted as an amputee .. You have to learn to do things Differently... Yes it takes a bit more energy, balance and standing in positions that aren't "normal".. I look kinda weird and feel that I look weird doing it... Theres no way to look cool when your in an awkward position...that everyone else does normally with out hesitation...lol. Ceratinly lifting..moving things around the house or cleaning the garage is now a major chore.. Or cutting and edgeing the lawn is now an all day job..where it use to take just 30 mins or less... For get about digging up dirt for a garden... Its impossible.. especially with all the broken bones and fractures I have endured over the years.. Lets not forget doing all of this while having Rhuematoid Arthritis.. even complicates it even more.

Just like I use to enjoy...
Shoveling the snow or running the snowblower to remove it.. The personal satisfaction of a job well done... Has now fallen by the wayside...
Most of all...
I miss riding a Harley... Like I did for oh so many years.... Because of being an amputee with a closed head injury I can no longer ride any 2 wheeled vehicle... The only way I could ride a Harley again would be a Trike... But there so pricey.... I realistically can not own one... There way out of my price range! being retired...doesn't allow you to have those sorta luxurys.... Since you end up on a"fixed" income....
The only way I could ever afford that dream again would be if someone donated one to me...or.... I hit the lottery..Which we all know is a near impossibility!

That's my problem in a nut shell Space....

Maybe one of our generous Member's will come `up & assist you with the things that you can't do ? (I'll come `up & help you detail your Monte & I've never shoveled snow (just sand: ).

There's so much I want to `do, but it seems that time is just flying by, but I'm just happy 2 `be & I hope that you & our member's are also

Life changes as we travel our journey's of life. We must adapt & keep working to extract the best we can from everyday that we are given.

Wish all minor problems. We in the USA & Canada have it better then the majority of others on planet `Earth...

I'm kind of nervous! I still have to get my trans worked on. I had the money to do it, but due to circumstances beyond my control, I had to use it to pay bills and have some work done on the LEXUS.
I have almost no 3rd gear and it's throwing a code for the TCC stuck open. With the CEL on, it will not pass the inspection due next month!
Does anyone want to give up the Winning numbers for the lottery? Lol!
I'm sure it will all turn out but I am still nervous.

I believe in prayer & hope. I think the Master is busy or being bombed by many with more serious problems then ours, but it can't hurt to keep praying/hoping & wishing 4-Sure.

I hope that you find a solution 4-Real. Let us all bow our heads in prayer

I tend not to pray for myself. It's one of those "The Lord Helps those who help themselves" thing. But I do appreciate all thoughts and prayers pointed in my direction!
