Default What's wrong with this picture?
Why does the lead car in the "NASCAR DAYTONA Internal Engine Race" television commercial have "Impala SS" lettered on the front? I thought the Impala was a Sedan; not a Coupe?

I may be wrong, but aren't ALL of the cars based on 4 door sedans?

Could be 20, but I stopped ffollowing NASCAR between 86 and 96.

Yeah, about 20 or so ... 1988/1989 was when they started racing cars that were offered as FWD ... and thus, so not stock.

Hasn't been a "stock" car in Nascar for a long time.
I suppose they should change the name, but I don't think "NAAR" would catch on. LOL

The Monte wasn't 4 door...and yes the Impy is a 4 door

Wonder why they didn't choose the Malibu?

The '08 Malibu is a lot nicer looking, in my book.
