Default Whatizt???

It's been a while since a 'whatizit?' has been posted so I thought I'd toss this one out there and see if anyone can identify it...

I thought so too, but the fins are different on a bel-air - plus the grille on front would have a cross bar design, and a few other small differences. It's closer to an El Dorado - like Taz said but definitely a Chevy.

EDIT: I think I got it: 57 Chevy El Morocco

Ding! Ding! Ding!

We have a winner!

Technically 'Chevy' was dropped from the name, but close enough.

Here's some more info about it:

El Morocco, R. Allender & Company, 1956 Chevrolet, 1957 Chevy, Bel Air, Reuben Allender, Baby Cadillac - CoachBuilt.com

Anyone think it looks nearly identical to the Cadillac series 62?

I have read a magazine article on this car. It started life as a 57 Chevy Bel Air. Nice execution.
