What was your Favorite Car?

only car i've ever had on the road that was mine is the monte. and now the truck. the monte wins that contest hands down
other than that, i kinda wish i coulda gotten my dad's '87 mitsubishi starion. that was a badass lil import, fast as heck ( kept up with quite a few fox mustangs at stoplights & on the highway), had pretty much every option avalible, and was just coooool. when we got it it had something like 20k miles on it, but 7-8 years of on & off daily commuting and a few northeast winters wernt too kind. the car was in need of a total overhaul by the time we sold it, scince we couldint afford to do it justice. towards the end of last summer i actually saw my dad's old car in a parking lot, then later the same day driving down the road, and it looked to be totally restored, which made me happy & sad at the same time

The (other) Beast
My favorite car was a 1971 Mercedes Benz 280SE. The thing was an absolute colossus. It had the teak wood interior, leather seats, power windows and was even fuel injected. Sometimes I have dreams about that car. While I was in Cuba, my wife sold it. We were hurting BAD for money and it was my only possession that was worth anything. Now I am sad...

Miller - that's was a sweet old Mercedes! It looks like our '73 220 but with a bigger (and fuel injected) engine. It's is now our daughter's daily driver. She has it at college. She thinks it's the 'greatest car EVER.' Apparently she's inherited my fascination with old cars...
Hmmm... Can't seem to upload a pic via my iPad. I'll update later with a pic of our MB 220.

Dont get me wrong, i really loved my Monte, but my most favorite car was my 73 AMC Hornet SportAbout D/L. Drove that car cross country and to Vegas countless of times without skipping a beat. Only bought it for $250.
I might get me another one if the right model and color comes around.
