My thoughts exactly Mike. I read an article a while ago saying those cars that require premium are generally more expensive/sporty and the owners have more money so there is less pressure to lower the price. Then theres us

Thanks everyone for your post comments. I enjoyed reading what other think & what they are paying where they are driving.

X2, you hit the nail on the head.

I see diesel is now cheaper than gasoline once again. It always used to be, then who knows 15 years or so back it began costing more than gasoline.

Also with all the lower fuel prices for sometime now, why are we not seeing the airlines eliminating all the extra charges that they just had to have to make up for the $4 gal fuel? Probably the same answer as Keane's. There are those who can afford to fly and then there's us... and we have no voice that they care to listen to. It's all price gouging to a great degree. Why does Iraq, Saudi Arabia and all their bro's get $00.40 gallon gas, and we are now one of the largest producers of oil in the world and we still have to pay a fair amount for fuel. I just did my corporate taxes for Oct. 15th and I spent over $5400 on fuel in 2014, that's just for my work truck. That's $450 a month, a dang truck payment, I would have liked to have spent $180 @ .40 a gallon.

Oh well quit complaining and get back to work you slacker Zippy!! Don't get me going on our paper money, they can print all they want and yet still need ours in the form of taxes? Just a way to keep the poor man poor and get him to get out of bed and slave away for the big dogs. I needs more paper, more green paper, more green paper. It's maddening how we have had to become a dual income family to live like the single wage earner, lower middle class family did back when I was a kid in the 1800's.

As annoyed as i get about gas prices, i don't pay much attention to them. You need it either way, so might as well just pull up, gas up and go. No use getting bent out of shape about it since its pretty much a necessity.

Hi `Greg, `Keane & Member's...
Thanks everyone for your posts & thoughts.
Yes, I know that the prices are out of our control, but it sure is nice to see them low & think about owning & driving a V8 or less efficient vehicle

Below from a web search:

The U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) estimates fuel prices could drop as low as $2.29 per gallon for gasoline and $2.87 for diesel.
The department released its predictions this month in its annual Short-Term Energy Outlook with analysis for 2015 and 2016..

Falling gas prices means no Social Security increase in 2016
