Swapped the stock wheels with winter tires back on. I also swapped the stock headlights back in due to the low beam of one of my aftermarket's going out. Think I may repaint the black headlights to body color. Kinda like the 'vettes have.

Looked at the car haha. So your thinking body color? I think that would look pretty cool, but then give them a small layer of tint over the top?

I hadn't thought about tint but it could be a possibility. For those of you that don't know, it's the C6 headlights that I'm talking about copying.

I'm hoping body color wouldn't give the lights the bug eye effect that the stock lights have, but avoid the big difference between the black and body color that's evident with the aftermarket ones.

I could also take the time to do a real HID swap, better halos and white LEDs while I'm in there.

I purchased and had installed some "Firestone Firehawk™ Wide Oval™ Indy 500® (2010)" tires. It was funny because the mechanics had ALL kinds of questions.

Then I played around in the garage with $10 in parts from RadioShack. I managed to clean up the engine compartment a bit. Forgive the dirty starting point...
BEFORE

AFTER

I understand that it isn't "show" quality, but it works great for me.

Resurrecting Lazarus here aren't I?

Did it really take me three months to FINALLY replace my rotors, pads, drop the trans pan and perform... well the second oil change since I first said I was going to do it?!?!?! Still a little shy of 100k miles though.

Well the new brakes are on. All I can say is it's a HUGE difference from the warped rotors and cheap metallic pads that were on it! Feel confident in traffic once again.
