Default well i was in a accedent early this month

the cougar that i have as a back up car wich drives like the monte a lazy boy with wheels. i got in a accedent with the cougar it is a 94 but the radiator cor suport is bent and the hood is messed up the frame didnt bend because when i hit the brakes the front did a nose dive. the hood took the brunt of the impact but didnt really push any thing that far back. ironacly i am suprised i was expecting when i seen under the hood i was expecting the radiator would be sitting on the drive belt and pully system yeay for the amarican steal. but i want to fix it badly i fixed the rear because i got hit in the rear as well i got the bumper trunk lid tail lights and the foam that sitsimbotween the plastic bumper and the rear metal rail that is the bumper im supprized that it didnt get bent at all.

You should take it in for an estimate. Most shops do this for free. If you plan on fixing some of it yourself just tell them what you want them to do.

If you plan on fixing the car yourself you need to make sure the inner fenders are not bent. Strip the car down to the radiator support and deliver it to the body shop with a new radiator support and tell then you want then to weld it in. Bring the car home and bolt it back together.

i took it down to the radiator support just to see what the damage really is majority is prety straight. exept for the radiator suport the top at least being a little bent back but. it is frustrating for being a v8 i put a high gear in it it had pushing a 2.98 rear i went with a 2.89 and gained more gas milege in it. its quick to a point where i dont want to race it i just cruse in it like a do in my monte i dont go fast untill i need to get away from a erratic driver but i wish the front didnt get messed up
