reason being, some idiots out there saturate the filter w/oil and then wonder why their motor starts running funny when that oil makes it's way into the combustion chamber. But when done correctly, it's a non issue. The only thing I don't like about K and N is that thier initial filter capabilities isn't the best when the filter is dirty, it only starts to filter like it should once it gets dirty.
