I got home a few minutes ago. I had to fill the van up and decided to go into Walmart to check to see if they had smoke detectors and oil and filter to change the oil in the 95 Town & Country. I scored a deal on the smoke detectors. They had two that were on clearance for 3 bucks each. I got them both. After last nights scare I didn't want to go another night without them.
The minivan hit 176000 miles on the way home tonight. The body is rust free except the roof has some surface rust. I'm thinking about painting it. I am somewhat afraid though that after I paint it, it will die. I guess I am a bit perplexed by it. In January I will have had it for two years. I bought it with 108000 miles. In the time I have had it I replaced the shocks and struts on all four corners, I've done front brakes twice. The last time I replaced the rotors. I've replaced the rear wheel bearings, one front axel, all the hoses and belts, two a/c hoses, had the transmission rebuilt, and replaced the headliner, and one strut on the tailgate. The other one broke at the body mount and I broke an easy out trying to remove it. I will have to take it to a body shop and have it fixed. I've been told that the 3.8 engine is good for over 300000 miles. Still thinking.

morning everyone, another gray day here today, i'll be off to school shortly. Facebook decided to change AGAIN and i have no idea how to work it this time. They realy need to stop it annoys everyone everytime they do it.

Mornin' all. Happy Hump Day! For some reason this week seems to be dragging along. It feels like it should be Friday...lol. If you didn't see my post in the other section I finally bought some wheels and tires for my Monte yesterday.
