Good morning my friends. Working from home today.
Finding out Michigan's elder care laws in regards to Medicaid are a slippery slope to navigate even with an elder care lawyer.
lawyer says we can buy mom a new car in her name out of the trust to preserve part of her estate. As elders are entitled to 1 car and 1 home. What kind of car do you buy a 97 year old that does not have a driver's license = I am thinking a Caddie? Lawyer says a vette or Camero would raise red flags LOL

Rules/Laws for the elderly is in a sad state 4-Sure
Our Government needs to revise the rules/laws so that they can be understood & enforced. The BeachBum Family still has to help many of our senior friends with their cost. We've spent a small fortune on their care over & above what Medicare pays. The paperwork is a nightmare....I'd go for a new Z07 Stingray & screw the Red Tap...It would be my dying wish 4-Sure....
Seriously, I wish you the best on getting it resolved. If the attorney you have isn't capable of doing the `job (?), I would search for another one that could...It's just as Bad as our IRS rules...
You need a special course just to understand their laws/rules...
So much Red Tape & wasted time...Some just give `up & pay, pay, pay

Morining Gang! Space I kinda dig that Vett video. 10:60's are fast in my book. Especially when my Chevelle is laying around in pieces!
Found out this morning my 6 year old daughter has to go back in a cast. She broke her arm back in May practicing her Kung Fu. (she has no real training, she got it from Kung Fu Panda, lol!) The cast came off in July, but now they are putting it in a hard cast again. Seems it somehow got rebroken. She's a tuff kid though, never lets something like this get her down.
