Dave (Sparky) - I've seen a few scary highway tactics here lately. The weaving in and out of lanes at 70 mph is the worst - I usually reduce my speed and drop back as far as practical. A few weeks ago it was a guy on a motorcycle doing it, with only inches to spare between him and speeding cars on the Interstate.

You don't work at Redstone, do you? My husband was there for ten years before he retired, and I visited the city of Huntsville several times. I remember taking walks thru beautiful wooded areas there.

Afternoon all, on my way to an Irish restaurant to celebrate my moms birthday. Then it'll be off to work again tonight. No truck tonight but we've got some left over stuff from last night.

Good afternoon everyone! Just got off work. Going to pick up some supplies and start detailing the Monte! There's a "cruise-night" tomorrow night in my hometown so I'm planning on detailing everything tonight and probably do a quick detail before leaving tomorrow. Sounds like this is going to be the last one for the summer but hopefully I'll get to check out some of the local rides and get some cool pics

Angie, I'm pretty sure Dave works at Redstone. He's retired Army if I recall correctly as well. I'm about 2 hours north of there myself and plan on using the autocraft shop there when I overhaul the truck.

Space thats crazy, over 20 hour work shift. But the money must be just as crazy. Since you work a double every night is that 8 hours over time every night or no? Where i work anything past our 8 hours is overtime and anything beyond 40 hours for the week is ot as well.

Off to work I go. Probably gonna be another 10+ hour night. If I hadn't had drill this weekend I'd be over 30 hours for the week already (I missed work Sunday night due to drill). As it is, I already have over 20 hours and will have over 50 before the week is over since we're working that 6th night. Y'all have a good one.
