MMMM lunch time just had chinease buffet! i feel fatter now!

 

Just got some bad news. One of my favorite students from last year was in a bad car wreck. She is 14 and stubborn. She took her seat belt off and laid down in the back seat, her dad said this has been a big issue between them. Well they were driving over the mountain last friday and a car slid across the road and hot them. She fractured her skull broke two bones in her neck, and has lots of bruises. She will recover thank fully, but it will be months before she is up and doing stuff.

 

Just got the phone call I have been waiting for. I have been hired back for next year to teach in my old job at the middle school. Only a one year guarantee at this time.

Sorry to read about the accident of your student...Hopefully she will learn from this experience..(The hard way )...It's just another reminder how fragile that human beings are & they can break when they hit hard objects...I hope she has a full recovery.

Great news about getting another contract teaching for a year in a position that you know...One year is better then no year at all ~> 4-Sure...

Man, snowing still in Oregon. That has to suck.
Teacher Todd- Congrats on the job term and sorry to hear about your student. I took my seatbelt off today on the way home so I could roll up the passenger window. That always scares me. You see so many movies where people do that and wreck. The page one looks great, that picture works just fine. There were alot in my garage to choose from, but that is one of the best.

Mike, use lots of skin cream and your sunburn will be better soon. Many of us are suffering through sunburns right now. Myself included.

Todd, kind of a good news -- not so good news. That sucks to hear about the car wreck. Hopefully everyone will be okay. After that accident, I'm thinking the 14 year old will be wearing her seatbelt from now on.

But hearing about your new contract is great news. Good to know you'll be working.

Keith, is that snow or hail? Snow in June??? That really blows!

It was a great day today. In the 70's and dry all day. Finally got to mow the lawn. Now maybe tomorrow I can finally detail the Monte.
