As you're probably aware Mike, there almost wasn't a new OS or new Blackberry. RIM had some legal troubles, and market share really threatened the company's existence. That's one reason for the long delay. It was big news here in Canada since the company is Canadian.

If they do it right, they can take advantage of a superbowl ad to help launch the new BB.

I know they were in trouble, but they were honestly never in the trouble that the media made them out to be. North America is the only market they really aren't doing well with. They still have a huge subscriber base. They just reorganized the whole C-level of the corporation, new marketers, new CEO, new everything.

They made the choice to delay it until they felt it was 100% perfect before the release, because the last CEO used to allow devices to go out before they were 100%.

I'm sure your local news stations are excited for the release, I know I am. This is going to be a very scaleable and powerful OS. QNX actually powers many high-end cars, CISCO routers, Space related software, etc. There's a lot that is going to be coming out that is based around QNX and guess who owns that

Here is a great article explaining QNX: http://crackberry.com/history-qnx-an...-blackberry-10

Sounds like Microsoft. Just release the broken version, and we'll come up with patches and service packs.

Exactly, that stuff just doesn't fly anymore. I'm glad the new CEO realizes this. Better to get a fully fleshed out product out in the market late, than to rush something just to meet expectations of people who probably aren't even going to buy the phone.

^ Thanks `Mike for the link...It's very high tech 4-Sure..
I could not find the selling price ? I'm a novice to this market & will be getting a new phone device in the near future & I must start doing my homework/research for the best one for the $'s & features...

Look forward to your future updates on your new device
Thanks!

Because it's a Canadian company, the new BlackBerry comes with a free canadian bacon and maple syrup sample pack. That's just what I heard. I could be wrong.
