It's good you have back up heat. Your furnace will never go out when it's 50 degrees outside. My furnace is about 50 years old but we had it checked out when we bought our house and the guy said it was in perfect condition. We have pretty low heat bills too.

I got it going again Lou, but I think a new fuel filter may be on the horizon.

Glad to hear it. Being a homeowner is frustrating sometimes. I'm just glad I'm handy enough to fix things up as they break. I have a small leak in a pipe elbow right now that needs repair but i know once you start disassembling old pipes everything starts falling apart. Im waiting till it absolutely needs to be fixed

Evening all, on the chat of cell phones. I used to have a blackberry curve, wasnt even 3g. But it was a huge improvement over the garbage i had before it. When getting my new phone i was comparing blackberry and andriod phones. After comparing i laughed at myself for comparing andriod with blackberry. No comparison andrio was a clear winner.

I got the Samsung Infuse , i was gonna look up the processor speed on wikipedia, but yea Battery life is good, i have an app which helps to conserve it and i can get a full day with usage, or low use it'll last 2 days. Love this phone, when i show people they're all like Its huge!!!. Yep, bigger than the iphone, 4.5" screen

EDIT: processor speed is 1.2ghz single core. I didn't really want to wait on the new galaxy phone which i know is dual core.

I had to work on my dad's water lines last month, too. He had a major leak near the hot water heater. His house started out as a single wide trailer, but he added on and you can't even tell. Since it was originally a trailer, it has these rubber/plastic lines around the hot water heater. I had to fab up a new line out of brass and splice it in with the original plastic. It still has a tiny drop that must not actually drop for half hour to an hour. It's not even enough to really wet the floor where it's located. I'm afraid to mess with it anymore right now.
Keane, I had a Blackberry Curve too. It was a good phone, but I don't think it was wi-fi capable. That's what I really love about my Droid, since I don't have cell service at my house, but I can still surf the web on my household wi-fi.

Sometimes a drip at a connection will seal up by itself over time. I had one on a drain line and it's gone now but I knew if I tightened it any more it would snap.

My next phone will have wifi for sure. I'm using a lg chocolate touch still and I can barley get online with it. I'm due for an upgrade but I'm trying to get a new job so i'm waiting to see if i anything extra.

Lou I have found an epoxy that works awesome. The stuff is called AQUASTIK. It is a two part epoxy and as the name suggests it works with water. Once hard it can be drilled and tapped. We have this stuff at work and I have used it to make temporary plumbing repairs that turned into being more than temporary. It works best if you can dry the area before application and leave it dry until it has fully cured but it isn't required.
