Thank you Teacher Todd for starting our daily blog. It looks like I get to be the first poster today and I was the last poster last night at least at midnight. I will check back when I get home. Later.

I got home a few hours ago and the MCF seems quiet tonight. It is time for my recharge. I hope everyone has a good night and a good morning. Drew, Space, and Taz I hope your night goes quickly and safely. Good night and good morning. I will check back in about eight hours.

Good morning friends. Working fro home today. Picking up the rental around 4:30 to goto Bluffton tomorrow. Have to get some user documentation done for a system I wrote for Bluffton. Dreams of Buicks went thru my head last night. Will be glad to say goodbye to Maynard and get Sally for my DD and wifey will have the new car. (She desrves it)

Mornin guys. Home from work. As Space mentioned in his recap (and I mentioned in yesterday's blog), I am now an official employee of Johnson Controls (or JCI for short). HR made it retroactive to Monday. Not sure if I'll get holiday pay for Monday or not since that was my hire date. Guess I'll find out next week when I get my paycheck. Even if I don't, my paycheck will still be about $80 or so bigger.

Apparently I'm well liked, because a lot of the guys came over to my workstation to congradulate me after we got started.

Anyway I'm exhausted. The storms got me up earlier than I planned. But we had two tornadoes touch down in the county so I had to stay on my toes. But I'm gonna head for bed now. Have a good day everyone. We gotta work Friday night so I'm not quite halfway though my week like I usually am on Wednesday morning.

Mornin' all and Happy Hump Day. It's currently 27° and the wind chill factor is bringing it down to 19°. The forecast was off a bit on when the snow was supposed to arrive around here, but it did begin snowing a couple hours ago and hasn't let up yet. Areas around me have been getting snowed on since yesterday afternoon. In preparation they dismissed school for my daughter a couple hours early yesterday and announced last night they would be closed today. Congrats on the official position at your job, Drew. Hope everyone makes a good one of it today.

Well the morning commute has begun and the scanner is going crazy with calls concerning accidents and disabled vehicles. Todd, you seeing any of this snow yet? I know you're further South than Portland, but it looks like they're getting quite a bit dumped on them.

lol Space, wedding is August 22nd. Just barely started snowing here. Keith has a bunch of snow I am sure, and the town 30 minutes from me closed schools today because of snow. Wish we had more so I hope it snows all day. :)

Morning all. 21 degrees here right now. Had to scrape about an inch of frozen snow off the window from yesterday frozen mix.
Drew congrats on getting hired. I think they have a location here or they did before. I'm not sure if they still do tho or even what they make at this location. I was a Conair plant before tho.

Space I forgot to say earlier they sold a Vette like that on Barrett Jackson last night. It was silver with 4 miles on it and it sold for like 25 or 30 thousand.

No offense to you diehard NFL fans, but are people that stupid to pay 4-5K per ticket to the superbowl? :rotfl: I like football but not that much. Seems to me corporate greed and the players are responsible for this.:mad: I wouldn't pay over 1-200 for any event. Afterall, the superbowl is just another game. Maybe not if its your team playing but still for that money..Look at all the starving people out there and people who can't even pay a heat bill. I just saw this on the news. Sure I made a few enemies with this:thumbsup: Also saw the snow coming down in washington and Oregon. Get your shovels out guys.

Well the snow let up a little so I found my way outside to check it out. It's not too bad at the moment...about 4" or so and some drifts that are a little deeper. This is what my poor Monte looks like, and it is sheltered by the building:

As I was coming back inside the snow started falling harder again, so my snow shoveling chore is on hold until it lets up again...
