Sitting in Pep Boys waiting on the install of the Drivers side Control arm and wheel alignment! Took almost 3 years to get My Minion to the point where I could get the alignment done!

Afternoon guys. Thanks for starting the blog Barbara. I just noticed your location. It's a small world. My mom is from Gas City.

Sold the 73 this morning. Sad to see it go, but I'm at peace with the realization that my knee can't operate a clutch anymore. Hopefully I have a chance to work on the 78 soon. Mother Nature looks like she's saying no to that. At least for this weekend.

No work done on My Minion today. The clunking on the drivers side is the Strut piston. The Seal in the Strut has warn. The ball joint was fine on that side, but the ball joint on the p/s is bad. Did you guys know that the Ball Joints for the 00-05 Monte is Riveted on to the control arm. So the only way to replace it is to replace the control arm. Where does that make sense.
At any rate, Rock Auto will take the return of the Left Control arm. Then I have to order the right side control arm and a new set of front struts. THEN, I can have the wheel alignment done!
