Mornin' all and Happy Hump Day! It's a balmy 52° with 83% humidity this morning. They said on the news this morning that we got more rain yesterday alone than we got in the entire month of December combined. 
We had a lot of wind last night, and another rain/wind storm is heading our way for tonight. We didn't lose power (some around us did) but all the flashlights/radios have fresh batteries and the portable dvd player is fully charged...just in case. I also have a couple of 12v car batteries charged up to power my ham radios. 
Hope everyone makes a good one of it today.

Good Morning `Mike,
It's great that you prepare for no power, & I hope that you don't lose it..(Power that is)...We do the same thing here in Florida & make sure our back `up generator's are in top condition....One takes electric 4-granted, until they lose it.
It's also cold here in Florida & I feel bad for Jerry on his trip to Pensacola, Florida...He should get sunshine, but it won't be warm enough to swim in the pools unless they are heated.

morning friends! Still in Kansas with the grandkids. Daughter has computer problems think Igot them fixed. So logged in here to test internet speed.

Good Morning everybody!
Rick, sounds like they gave you the "continental breakfast". Usually that consists of coffee and a muffin. I'm not a fan of continental breakfasts. I'd rather have a full breakfast. So I'm not walking around all morning hungry and grumpy (because I'm hungry).
