Maybe it's just the car nut in me, but I think that is a huge waste of some 5th gen Montes. And I do believe they are stock Montes with the engine sounds dubbed in post production editting.

Besides, it's too much of a nascar version of the movie "Christine".

yha, they even had the gas station scene, lol. idk, it is a syfy tv movie, so ya know its corny.... like the razer wipers.... i guess thats why they call 'em "wiper blades" lol.

i think they probibly only had 2 or 3 red 5th gen cars, mostly because the crash scenes were entirely computer done if you look close, and toward the end the car winds up pancked (christene) but as its sitting in the junkyard crushed it turned into a 2 door cavaleir, lol.

Hi `Ryan, I really liked it, but maybe it's just a SpaceThing
I haven't seen 2 many movie's during my `life, but I would watch the Phantom Racer. It's kinda like a SpaceGhostMonte : )
Thanks 4 sharing. The Bum's & I enjoy'ed the preview : )
They came & woke me up from my power `nap, and of course we had 2 check in with our Monte Carlo Family : ) Hope your today is better....& that you can get your `Monte back on your highways of life <4-Sure : )

...I know I'd drive it & think it would be a blast to have one for a Street/Rac'in Edition Monte....The bad part is that I think it would be followed all the time with those guys/gals with flash'in lights : ), but they couldn't catch `it
LOL

One scene when the car goes after the daughter, you can see the front tires start to smoke. lol
(gee thought they were RWD race cars????)

But wouldn't you know it. Set the DVD player to record this for me so I can Finally see the ending and the machine shuts off early. AAAGGGGHHHHH!!!!
