Hey, you found something smaller than the chevy cruze.

Who remembers the Corbin Nose. Uhhh I mean Sparrow? The factory was local here and seen a few of the similar 3 wheelers.

Hi Barovelli,

seeing & learning something every time I visit the MCF
Thanks for sharing
HighTechScience.org's
"Sparrow" Electric Cars

"Coolest Car In Town"
say's the Palm Beach Post
The Sparrow Personal Transit Module

is a single passenger all electric vehicle.
Powered by thirteen 12 volt batteries, the Sparrow provides an effective range of 35 to 45 miles and a top speed of 75-80 mph.
There were only 355 made. Ours is #6

The Sparrow was made at the Corbin Motors plant in Hollister, CA. from 2000 till late 2002. On March 31st, 2003 Corbin Motors filed for bankruptcy, effectively killing the future of the car, until

Myers Motors resurrected the company in 2004 with the NmG-1.

The Sparrow is a single seat, electric commuter vehicle with an original MSRP of $13,900. Its highly efficient design enables it to provide extremely cost effective transportation for as little as a penny per mile.

This gold Sparrow is owned by HighTechScience.org

The car plugs into an ordinary 110-volt electrical outlet
and fully recharges in 6 hours (3 hours with a 220-volt charger).

As you can see, the Sparrow came in many colors.

Only 355

were originally manufactured.

Approx. 250
made it onto
the roads.
40-50 are

still around today.

If you have seen the Top Gear video of a road test of another trike called a Reliant Robin you'd never set foot in a 3 wheeled car.

Ok, this is way off topic, but the picture of the little kid Flippin' the Bird reminded me of a similar episode years ago when my daughter was about 4 years old.

A small drainage ditch ran behind our neighbors yard on Ft. Meade. The neighbors had a teenage kid who had the chore of cleaning the ditch of trash. Like most teenagers, he didn't always use clean language when Mom & Dad were not around. He sometimes had choice words to say about litter-bugs.

My daughter was a tiny little thing at this time with a very articulate but high-pitched little pixie voice. One day as my wife, kids and I were walking through the parking lot outside the Post Exchange, a man in front of us flipped his cigarette butt on the ground right in front of us. Without skipping a beat, my daughter says in her loud, clear, little pixie voice, 'God d--n litter bug!' The guy visibly cringed and stumbled. He never looked back at the name-caller though. I was such a proud Dad that day...

Ok back to work...

Does she still say it to all the litter bugs she see's...Unfortunately, there are to many in our world that still thrash it...No Respect 4-Sure...I have a few words for them, but I'd get banned `if I posted them

Thanks for taking this thread `Off Topic : )
Wish you & readers of this a `Happy : )
