Veterans day prade Idea

Man do I need to get the car out today and just drive !! I am not ready for winter !! I may have just a couple of weeks left before I park it !! I know we are doing a Veterans day parade on the 11th of Nov and I will have at least 3 Vets in the car so that is cool !!
I am just trying to figure out how to mount 2 Flag's on the car for the parade I have vent visors so the window flags are out but I think I may be able to use some magnets and the American flag and a MIA window flags still on the trunk lid .
Here is what I am thinking .
If I cut of the bottom clip

and mount / strap it into or on 2 my welding Magnets

and put a small amount of felt on the bottom of the magnates so they don't scratch my paint on the Trunk they should hold at parade speed they have 140# of hold each Mag .(I may shoot the Mags Black )
What do you all think ??

I'm thinking the same type of magnetic flag many funeral homes use. Don't know where you'd get those though (legally).

Or make a mount that fits in the gap between body panels. Between the fender and the hood. Maybe have the POW-MIA flag on one side of the hood, and the American flag on the other side?

I would be worried they would tip over because of the height of the flag. I like the trunk or hood idea.

Copy that guys the flags will be here this week they are 18" x 24" so they are big small Flags . LOL
I will see if there is any way to fit them between the body panels or gaps .

Taz I looked up those magnetic flag holders but the ones I found can only hold up to 6"x6" so I will keep looking

Thanks for chiming in guys !!

You could have a sign shop print the flag design on magnets similar to what they do for businesses and just attach them to the doors or rear quarters. They are durable enough you could use them for many years.

here is what i did come up with
front wind shield

and back window and we plastic welded the window flags so they would stand up !!

This is why you need the inchannel vent visors, then if you need to use your window you just take them off for the day :p

Are you going to leave the banners on the windshield and rear window?
