Confirmation from Shaheen's
Lil Deuce is at the body shop and they are formulating an estimate and a plan of restoration to show condition

 

Man that is awesome, so glad for ya. And so cool that the man had an understudy that can hopefully duplicate the graphics if I understood that right. From my own experience with body work/waiting etc, it's always made me fall even more in love with the car. I'm a veteran of four deer "kills" with my 02 Z-28, which the shop named "deerslayer". We're all pulling for you!

 

Glad to hear it is getting fixed back to show quality. Can't wait to see it after it is done.

Shaheen Paint shop called me. THey will be able to save Gary's flames on the door. They will have to replace the front fender. Luckly the fancy pinstrip Gary painted on the fender is still intact and they can reproduce it.

They will get back to me tomorow with an estimate.
Feeling like Gary is looking down on the Deuce giving these guys direction.

 

It's all a positive... very nice, kind of puts you at ease while it's gone, knowing the Deuce is in good hands.

 

Final estimate came in from Shaheen's Chevy $3,373.16 this is for the new studs all the way around, new and better lug nuts, paint, art and body work.

I submitted the estimates along with photos that Shaheen took of the damage on to Auto Zone HQ. Waiting on what the next step is.


Work on the Deuce should be complete by the end of next week.

Just want her back already.
