LMAO! Do you have to replace the UIM when you do the swap? I think you do if you do the swap from an L67. Does the ZZP mm 90 swap makes you replace the UIM too? If it doesn't I would get a fire extinguisher just to be safe. I'll be replacing mine with an L26 UIM, aluminum, once I install the Turbo.

Had a bad soliniod stick open on the remote starter in my 2000 sebring convertable, drove one hour to work.. parked and began to open my shop and start the day. after five minutes I heard a car horn and peered out to see the interior dash in flames. I put it out but insurance paid out and brought me to my Monte.

Yea it replaces the UIM with a metal supercharger, so Im not worried about that. But just little electrical problems.

I think the most you'll have to worry about is the new fuel lines. Matt (2003SuperSport) said that his car could have caught fire because of them.

My opinion is if you're going to spend a few thousand dollars in heavily modifying the internals of your car, you can bust $60-$100 on a fire extinguisher to mount in the back seat or somewhere inconspicuous.

That is, if you aren't the type that enjoys watching $10,000+ of investment go up in flames without any ability to control it.

Always sad to see the hard work and money put into something like that go up in flames.
