Mornin' all. The wind died down, but it rained most of the day yesterday. It looks like more rain is in store for today. This morning I feel like a kid on Christmas Eve. My wheels and tires are supposed to be delivered tomorrow. Hope everyone makes a good one of it today.

Good Morning Everybody.

Shop is all opened up. Gonna be a loooong day again, today. But, then again, aren't they all? We get really slow here at the end of the month..So, I don't expect to be too busy today..

Make the most of it everybody! Tomorrow might not ever get here...

Mornin guys. FINALLY home from work. This is gonna be a long period of training....holy crap the lack of preparation on the part of the supervisors was unbelievable. If my shift supervisor had been in charge of that (he was supervising our regular production till we headed over to train so he was the last one out, as it should be for a leader) I'm certain it would have gone much smoother. I'd be embarrased to be the person who was in charge of that. It's things like this why I feel a college degree (or simple seniority) should NOT qualify you for a supervisory position. It's also why I feel that prior service military who were ranked E-5 or above should have a step up towards a supervisory position, because we know how to plan crap and make it work the first time through. Granted, I won't complain when the paycheck comes in but it really tests my sanity and patience when I see such a lack of good leadership.

i hear ya about leadership, one of the new managers where i work is terrible. I called her over for some help and i wound up telling her what to do and this happens all the time she has no clue what shes doing What good is a manager that doesn't know what they're doing
